Last night in New York City, Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts unveiled their brand new ad campaign, while also announcing some major changes to the Beaches Resorts brand. As a top Chairman's Royal Club agent with Sandals, I received an invitation to the event, but sadly I had just returned from my trip to Sandals Dunns River and wasn't able to squeeze this trip in, too. However, I've been keeping an eye on the announcements from the evening and am excited by this news!
For years we've watched the Sandals Resorts brand grow and expand their properties all over the Caribbean, while the Beaches Brand remained at just three properties - two in Jamaica and one in Turks & Caicos. Parents and kids alike have been waiting for this news of long awaited brand new Beaches properties.
Just hours before the campaign launch, Sandals Resorts International, the parent company of Beaches Resorts, announced the expansion of Beaches Turks & Caicos would be completed in Spring of 2026 and the new Treasure Beach Village would be opening March 1st, 2026. Booking is currently now available. The new village will boast an additional 101 suites for the resort, as well as 7 new restaurants, a zero entry pool with an infinity edge, a kids zone, cinema, and more. You can read more details about it, as well as view photos, here:
While speaking at the event last night, Adam Stewart, the Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, discussed the new Treasure Beach expansion but also made a major and exciting announcement about three brand new Beaches Resorts coming in the next few years.
Beaches Exuma

Beaches is set to debut in Exuma, Bahamas, with a new resort planned on 500 acres, expected to open in 2027. Formerly Sandals Exuma, this location will feature various accommodations, 12 restaurants, and access to the 18-hole Emerald Bay golf course, designed by Greg Norman.
Known for it's picturesque bright blue coastlines and world-famous tours like "swimming with the pigs" this destination is sure to be a hit for families who want to explore the untouched beauty and natural wonder of this Bahamian "Out Island" destination.
Beaches Barbados
The brand announced that in late 2025, they will begin construction on the first Beaches resort in Barbados, which will join its sister properties, Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados on the island. This resort will replace the former Almond Beach Village resort.
The resort will offer 600 rooms, including king suites and expansive four-bedroom suites measuring 3,000 square feet, perfect for large families, groups, and generational family travel.
According to Beaches, the resort will be crafted in "Bajan Style," inspired by Caribbean Georgian architecture, and will include a Main Street with various dining and shopping venues.
Beaches Runaway Bay

This property, formerly Jewel Runaway Bay in Jamaica, will be located halfway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. It is expected to have 400 suites, including four-bedroom options similar to the current brand new designs at Beaches Negril and Beaches Turks & Caicos.
There is no word on when this property will open, but I personally drove past it on my trip to Jamaica two weeks ago and from the main road it doesn't appear work has even started, so I wouldn't expect this property to open until at the very least, 2027. But crazier things have happened, so I'd be pleasantly surprised by an earlier opening.
