How to Make Dinner Reservations at Sandals Resorts

One of the most common questions we get asked by our clients is "how do I make a dinner reservation at Sandals Resorts". There are ways to book both before arrival and once on resort, and we're here to walk you through both options.


Pre-Arrival Dinner Reservations On the Sandals App

The only way to make dinner reservations prior to arrival on resort is to use the Sandals App, which is free to download on your device's app store. You can only make one reservation ahead of arrival on the app and only up to two weeks prior to arrival. Once the app is downloaded and you've added the booking in so it shows in your upcoming trips, you'll want to follow these steps.


Step 1) Select "View Vacation Details" under your upcoming trip.

Step 2) Select "Restaurants".

Step 3) Scroll the list of restaurants and choose the one you wish to hold that requires reservations and select it. Once the page opens up for that restaurant, select "Make A Reservation".

Step 4) On the next page it will show the names of both guests for the reservation. It will also show the list of dates. You can scroll through each date and see what times are available to select.

Step 5) Select the date and time you wish to reserve and enter any special requests you may have, then click "Reserve Now".

Step 6) The app will confirm your reservation and now let you view it under the "Reserved" section on the "Restaurants" page.

To view the reservation after you leave that page, go back to the list of restaurants on the "Restaurant" page and at the top under "Restaurants" scroll all the way to the end and select "Reserved". Once in there you can look at your reservation and cancel it if you want to book a different date and/or time.

If you find that you cannot get a reservation prior to arrival, don't stress. Sandals only holds a select amount of space on their app for dinner reservations. They also have space for the restaurants, club lounge and butlers to reserve. You shouldn't have any issue getting a space once on resort, just know you may need to be flexible on dates and times.



How To Make Dinner Reservations Once At The Resort

Once you're on resort, the options to make reservations are based on your room category level. All guests have access to all restaurants at Sandals Resorts, so you won't have to worry about paying extra for access or not being able to get seated because you aren't in the highest room category. Remember, at Sandals Resorts, not all restaurants even require reservations. For the restaurants that do not, you just show up at the time you wish to dine and wait to be seated like you would normally at home.


However, there are usually one or two restaurants on property that will require a reservation, those restaurants usually also require a dress code too (read more about that here). For those restaurants there are a few ways for you to make reservations once on property.


Entry Level Rooms

Guests staying in entry level rooms will be able to make their dinner reservations at the restaurant or at the front desk. Reservations can only be made at restaurants that take reservations. All others you can arrive at the time of your choice and wait to be seated.


Club Level

All club level guests will have access to making their dinner reservations with the concierge staff at the Club lounge. The concierge will only make reservations for restaurants that require reservations. All others you can arrive at the time of your choice and wait to be seated.


Butler Level

For butler level guests, their butler will handle dinner reservations. Most butlers will make reservations for you for the full stay prior to your arrival and when you arrive they will go over it with you to make any changes you may wish to make. Butlers are able to make reservations for you at any restaurant on property, even the ones that don't require reservations, and will ensure you get the best tables in the house. They are also able to bring meals from any restaurant on property directly to you (except for sushi which is not allowed to leave the restaurant). If you don't want to sit at a restaurant and dine but want to eat the food from the menu, you can opt to have the butler bring that meal to your room for a private dinner in-room or on your balcony.


Guests with Food Allergies/Sensitivities

Any guests with food allergies or sensitivities, regardless of their room category, can speak with the culinary concierge desk and make reservations or discuss menu options. However, if you have a butler, I still recommend using the butler for reservations and speaking with the culinary concierge about menu options after the reservations are made.
