I know. Booking a Sandals Resorts or Beaches Resorts vacation without having to put money down sounds too good to be true. Well, I promise you, it isn't. There is a secret trick to booking a room at Sandals Resorts or Beaches Resorts for $0 down and I'm going to share it with you...
There Is Only One Way To Do It
Sandals allows their Sandals Specialists (like me) who book directly with them to hold a room for our clients for up to 7 days without payment. By day 7, the first portion of the $400 deposit ($98) is due, and the $302 remainder is due 21 days after that. This pushes both due dates for the deposits out by a full week while also holding the room in your name, locking in the current rates and availability.
This is a great option for anyone who isn't entirely sure or needs some time to think things over but doesn't want to lose the last room available or a great deal that is about to expire.
How Does It Work?
When you're ready to book, you would provide me (your Sandals Specialist) with the names and dates of birth of the guests on the reservation. I would use that information to book the resort, room, and dates of your choice then provide you with the official Sandals/Beaches invoice confirmation. With that invoice would be instructions on how to log into your booking on the Sandals/Beaches website to make the deposit payments. I would also provide the due dates for the deposits, the final payment date, and the last date you can cancel before it becomes non-refundable.
Are There Any Instances When This Doesn't Work?
This option is for room only. If you're wanting to book flights, insurance, etc. then the booking no longer qualifies for a 7 day hold. Flights, insurance, tours, and any other extras added onto the package are always due in full at the time of booking and their cancellation and refund policies vary.
This option also only works if you aren't booking last minute, when final payment would be due. There needs to be at least 7 days before the final payment due date.
Also, the room type may change the hold policy. For example, most rooms qualify for this, however, if you're staying in one of the top suites-- let's say an overwater bungalow-- then the hold option is only for 24 hours. The best way to know for sure is if the deposit is $400 then I can hold that room for up to 7 days. If the deposit is $1,000 or more, then I can only hold that room for 24 hours.
Will This Change The Price?
No, booking with a Sandals Specialist, like me, who books directly with Sandals or Beaches and doesn't charge fees, won't cost you anything extra. So, if you need a little more time and want to know a room is securely held in your name, reach out to me and let's use this secret tip to your advantage.
